Hi, i've just got a quick interview date question.

I know that the dates are assigned fairly randomly - but are you given the option to state dates when you won't be available?

I'm expecting my packet 3 to come in the next two weeks but as i'm likely to be out of the country on work from end of July to mid Sep i'd like to request that my interview date is not before Sep 10th - is this possible?

Met in Wales November 2004

Got engaged Feb 2007

Sent I-129F to NSC Mar 6th 2007

Embassy interview 11th Sep 2007

Arrived in US 15th Sep 2007

Married Oct 12th 2007

Sent AOS forms Nov 13th 2007

Biometrics Dec 14th 2007

EAD/AP received Jan 22nd 2008

Green Card interview Mar 23rd 2008

10/19/2007: Wedding!

12/7/2007: Sent AOS packet
12/17/2007: Received 2 NOA1's in mail
01/02/2008: Received I-131 NOA1 in mail
01/10/2008: Bio Appointment @ Jackson, MS
03/18/2008: Green Card Production Ordered
03/22/2008: Approval Notice Sent (CRIS email on 03/24/08)
03/24/2008: Received Welcome Letter and Green Card in mail.

11/13/2009: Our daughter, Isobela was born!
11/19/2009: Received notice from USCIS to remove conditions
12/15/2009: Sent I-751 to VSC
12/22/2009: NOA1
01/20/2010: Bio Appointment @ Jackson, MS
03/18/2010: Card Production Ordered!
03/25/2010: Received Green card in mail.

All you can do when you're filling out the Pkt 3 forms is state that when they ask about travel arrangements. They usually try to accomodate everyone.

As Tracey said, they are pretty accomodating.

when we got our first interview date, my husband was out of the country - rescheduling was pretty easy.

We are completely graduated now!! He got his Visa in his hands (with the unopened brown envelope) at 7:30 in the morning yesterday!!!!!!!! He was so hungover, but doens't matter he still has it now!!

We're booking flights today!!!!!!!! YAY :wub:

Feb. 12, 2007 Application for I129F Rec'd by VSC.

Feb. 13, 2007 NOA1 Sent advising check was rec'd.

Mar. 1, 2007 Email stating NOA2 was hard copy sent to me.

Mar. 7, 2007 Hard Copy NOA2 arrived safely to me!

Mar. 8, 2007 *Touched* by London Consulate

Mar. 19, 2007 Craig Rec'd Packet 3

April 13 - April 22nd joining my guy in the UK for a much needed week of R&R!

April 27, 2007 Medical was successful.

May 16, 2007 Police Certificates finally arrive safely.

May 17, 2007 Checklist mailed to Consolute in London!!

May 30, 2007 Packet 4 Rec'd.

June 21, 2007 INTERVIEW DATE

June 23, 2007 VISA IN HAND!

July 21, 2007 Arrived in USA! Together at last.

Aug. 7, 2007 MARRIED!!

Aug. 21, 2007 Mailed off AOS & EAD Application (along with a whopping 1010.00!!)

Aug. 22, 2007 Application is signed for at the Chicago Lockbox.
