Three words: Coronation Chicken Sandwich.

This needs to be introduced to Americans right now.

I am listioning .. whats on it....besides chicken

Had a sandwich in Wales one time ... cranberry & brie on focaccia bread.. it was incredible - never heard of anything like that here.

As kids we loved peanut butter & b'bque sauce sandwiches.. sounds disgusting but.. the combo is yummers :)

Also a note on egg salad. My ex-mother in law told me once the secret to the perfect egg salad sandwich is to add some mustard to taste.. It does as a zip that is really great!

One of my other fav. sandwhiches is a tuna melt.. tuna, mayo & mozza cheese mixed together and then put on a english muffin or roll and broiled in the oven.. mmmmmmmm

uhmmm intresting..

Feta cheese, Munster chese, Mozarella, (or just about any combination or cheeses one likes, but Feta has to be one of them) w/ tomato and avocado slices, put this on a good baguette type bread w/ a healthy layer of mayo on the bread. Mmmmmm good stuff!

Make up the recipe above, and stick in between two slices of good quality granary bread with watercress as the garnish. Heaven, and a style of sandwich which is rare in the USA.

Love feta cheese!1 yummy!

Someone who mentioned Cranberry and Brie..that is a good combo. I love brie and turkey a little warmed with a little apricot. Sounds weird but it is lovely!

There was an awesome tasting combination that I always ordered when I worked for Country Kitchen years and years ago...I was so bummed when they discontinued it after while, and everyone kept asking for it for a long time! It was on a toasted bun and served open faced...it had ham on it and then broccoli with cheese sauce over it...omgggggg was it scrummy! All the best in your endeavor! (F) M.

ETA: Thinking of this now, it shouldn't be that difficult...gonna get the stuff and make some...mmmmm. PS..and all this talking has me really hungry for a tomato/mozerella sand.!

Maybe you could include more basic sarnies also. Not everyone likes fancy foods, you always get the odd one in a group that is picky.
