I am incredibly grateful for this thread. 

Now I can't help but wonder the kind of pictures USCIS/NVC receives and their reactions, especially the white, Christian women of Nebraska clutching their pearls. At least they get to have some fun!

I think most of the comments are really judgmental. They are simply asking a question. It's a website to provide and share information. Instead of making judgments, simply answer their question... 

Sometimes people need reassurace because the whole process is stressful as it is... sometimes people simply do not know.

 We are all judgmental beings but we can certainly try to play nice here. And i didnt mean any offense to anyone. But readint through some of the comments..it's just upsetting.
