I am planning on going to Nigeria to get married and come back to the U.S. and apply for him to come. I do have concerns about my fiance coming to the states. We have never met in person but we met online 3 years ago. Only thing we have proof of our relationship is texting and calling the last 3 years. He tried to come twice already and I got scammed out of $3000.00 Plus he got arrested because someone gave him a false plane ticket to China. Do we still have a chance.  He also tried going through  Canada got denied there too because too many people was going at one time. I was told he better not try anymore before he lose his chances. Please respond back, please and thank you.

There is always a chance.  However, you guys getting married on the first visit and then you petitioning for him right away may not be the best option.  You will be dealing with one of the most difficult embassies to get approved in, and only one meeting, and getting married then, are red flags. Why not meet first, have a nice time together, then get married on the second or third meeting?

I agree with @NuestraUnion.  I would also suggest you use the search function of this web site to see the experiences of others regarding Nigerian fiance visas.....

You are in the wrong forum if you are going to be married in Nigeria.  K-1 forum is for FIANCEE visa not a SPOUSE visa

If it's genuine and you can show it to the CO.* Some embassies are much more strict than others, and you need to not only have a valid relationship but also significant evidence showing that valid relationship.

What negatives comments? The OP asked for advice which we offered based on our experience seeing other similar cases here on VJ.

If the relationship is genuine. they can still get denied. There are cases ongoing on VJ right now where people have genuine cases are are denied.  All you have to do  is type in  the word "denied" and there will be hundreds to threads of cases where couples were denied.

We are just making sure the OP is aware that it is not always a cakewalk.

I would write down my timeline of my relationship, how we met, etc. The problems he has had with visas, and anything else. Look at it and scrutinize it. Have ur best friend look at it and ask her what is her opinion. If there are holes and questions from what u wrote, the CO will see the same.

I dated my husband for five years before we got engaged. I was fortunate in the fact that we could visit every three months. I would have ur fiance meet u a country that does not require a visa. Try the going to Barbados, Haiti, or Dominican Republic to visit and see each other. They are visa free for both of you. It will give you a chance to meet in person before marriage.

I agree with everyone else, regardless of whether your relationship is genuine or not, USCIS expects u to prove u are a loving couple and not ever meeting before getting married is a huge red flag.

Thanks @NuestraUnion .. I'm proof of "genuine case being denied"..the word "Nigeria" it's like deny deny ..we see fraud..
