Have a question regarding 864a form. Since i am the main  sponsor and my mother will be co sponsor (if needed), we are providing 864/864a form as well for intentions that my mother will financially support us if needed. Im confused on the form when it ask for household member and sponsor. My mother will fil out household member but not the part asking for sponsor statment ? That sponsor statement would be me?

I-864 is the wrong affidavit to provide to the embassy for a K-1.  Try the I-134

YMMV

I do understand about wanting to use the I-864 for the K-1 as USEM can be difficult with co-sponsors.  But you may be fine to just use the I-864.   Are you living with your mom and will be after your fiancee is in the USA?  (864a is for household members)     As or your question,  You are the sponsor and your mother is the household member.

With that said, your co-sponsor is your mother which make the embassy happy as they only consider close family with the K-1.   You may be just fine using the I-134.

Since 2014 the embassy as been very sporadic with even asking for the support evidence, still one never knows, so being prepared is best.

During the visa interview, applicants will be required to present evidence to the consular officer that they will not become a public charge in the United States. You may present evidence that you are able to financially support yourself or that your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is able to provide support. The Consular Officer may request that a Form I-134, Affidavit of Support be submitted by the U.S. citizen fiancé(e).

The U.S. citizen fiancé(e) will need to submit Form I-864 to USCIS with the application for adjustment of status to that of legal permanent resident following the marriage.

YMMV

Very aware.

But what you are not aware of is that USEM has on many occasion, with the K-1 and a co-sponsor, requested the I-864 be presented.

And like said earlier since 2014 all bets are off as to what the embassy will ask in regards to support evidence with the K-1.

Thank you Hank! Yes for the time being, we will be residing with my mother . Will we need to to provide 864a then?

I see no reason you can't being you are of the same household.   You would of course prepare the I-864.     I am no pro on the many versions of the I-864 and co-sponsors.

(as noted earlier you will be submitting the I-864/I-864a during Adjustment of Status, so there is no real issue submitting them now as well)
