Yes, I already knew America has the most. This is always the point I make when people say America is anti-immigrant or that America’s immigrantion policy is designed to keep immigrants out. America has one of the most beneficial immigration systems in the world. Not many countries allow immigrants the ability to bring over extended members of family.

These are absolute numbers. You have to sort them by percent of immigrant population (use the same wiki table). When you do that, Sweden is right there with the US, at 14.3% (of immigrants per population). Absolute numbers are meaningless because you're comparing a country the size of USA to those the size of Latvia.

I agree with him that it is meaningless, because the US is bigger than entire europe. If you put all of europe together, I'm sure the number is higher than that of the US.

You can manipulate numbers any way you wish.  However, the fact is that there have been more people to immigrate to the US than any other country....by far.

It's not manipulating. If you do it per capita, the numbers are way different.

As I said, it depends on what you are trying to measure.  You can't refute the fact that I presented.....which was the number of people living in the US who were not born here.
