I am little confuse guys, it will be appreciated if

Someone can enlighten me.

This is our case:

1.      We paid AOS 30 hours ago….

2.      They say we have to wait to pay  IV fee,  how will I know if IV fee is ready?

          Does the appearance of tick box indicate it is ready or can start paying?

3.      I went to http://ceac.stat.e.gov/ceac  to see the status, it says there to do ds260;

Does it mean that I need to do my ds260 first? Or it is normal they just say ds260 ahead

even if IV fee is not settled yet?

I got confused because I am expecting the instruction or action required is should be

Settling fees but I saw my next ACTION REQUIRED IS DS260 instead of IV fee?

please refer to the photo attached...... help me to understand more......

While my order was: AOS --> IV --> DS-260, I don't think you have anything to worry about if your DS-260 opens before your IV fee. Either way you have to complete all the above 3. Usually IV fees will open about 2 or 3 days after payment of AOS

Noted,So if it opens ahead just do the ds260 since it will be an issue which comes first, I see....

Thank you so much for helping :)

You should be able to click on it and it brings you to a page where you can pay, when it’s ready.  I don’t recall exactly what it looks like, but it was exactly the same as how I paid the AOS fee, and it’s all pretty self-explanatory, so don’t worry 😊

I am kind of puzzled now if it has been ready which mybe I am overlooking so I am actually trying to figure out where the button is hiding lol hahaha jk, but I am really curious how it will be so I can pay immediately but as what you have said it is the same as aos so better keep an eye now........ thanks for helping you've been helpful since my uscis days :) I am glad you are still active :)
