Hello dear VJers,

How is everyone? I am an hourly visitor to this site (haha) and now decided to join the forum because the waiting is driving me insane!! (and I know many others are in the same position as me). I filed an I-130 petition (CR1) for my husband and it was received on February 1st, 2007. Based on what you all have experienced and seen...when do you think I should hear something?? My husband is in Egypt and I am a US citizen residing in the US...but its odd because I have not had any updates yet......(when previously I thought Vermont Service Center was one of the faster centers in processing petitions). I will stay patient and strong and I hope you all do the same!! take care and GOOD LUCk to all! I hope we can all be reunited with those we love as soon as possible!

If you look a my timeline you applied 11/2 month after me at VSC and if takes the same time maybe you'll get something by the end of this month

Well, not really. I just checked your timeline and it says you filed for a CR-1/IR-1 visa with VSC. Even though this service center is known for approving petitions for K-1s within weeks and K-3s in about 3 months, they are also known for taking way longer to approve petitions for CR-1/IR-1 visas.

Check out the timelines for VJ members who have similar ones to yours and you'll get an idea. But unfortunately I don't think it will happen any time soon, I hope I'm wrong though.
