Hi All,

Has anyone ever had their spouse come over on a tourist visa instead of the spouse visa because the process time was shorter? Did it or will that work?  My husband asked if this was an option; him coming over as a tourist then changing his status after we marry here, although we are already married in Egypt.

I have not submitted our CR1 Visa package yet.

thanks,

So, if you would like easy and clear case, do CR1 for sure.

And you are telling people how to commit visa fraud.  I am reporting this post.

Is it not a community to discuss all related things about immigration? Whats wrong?
I dont like this but just see...I cant be with my fiancee for already 7 month...some people who do visa fraud can start living together without this gap.

Not fair :( And I am sad about this...

1. Thanks for the information.

2. Now that I am aware, of course we will NOT commit visa fraud.

3. CALM DOWN, it was only a question.

I agree with the other posters. I would not recommend this. There are very few government agencies that I am concerned about, and will lie to almost all of them, except the IRS, and the Immigration agencies. Those are the 2 I give a wide birth to because of the living hell they can bring down on you.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!
