No worries on drive time, No hurry once I get to Philippines.

Have you been there?

No I haven't.   We drive down that way at times but never been there.

You know any cool and undiscovered spots in Philippines with water as the main feature.

I have fell in love with Palawan, and have really enjoyed Camigiun Island, both are fairly off the radar.

I've never been past Tagaytay going that way, but Tagaytay looks about half way and it's around 4-6 hours to there.

Judging how long it takes to get somewhere in the Philippines by looking at a map is like this:  for every hour you'd think, triple it.  ;)

That is exactly what I am looking for.   Seems to be a hidden treasure.

How is the best way to access it?  By boat or superferry

As far as I know the only ferry service is from Hagnaya, Cebu.  Limited flights on tiny aircraft from Cebu Mactan to Santa Fe is another option

YMMV

I found this.  https://bantayanisland.com/listings/hagnaya-port-information/

Seems like a winner and the price is right.

Did you stay overnight on Batayan? Or do a day trip only?

I was wondering if they had a place to spend the night on the island

Where did you stay and how much per night?  Would you recommend the place?

Can you rent motorbikes and tour the island?

We stayed at Bantayan Huts.  Which is about a driver and then an 8 iron from the port.  It was OK (2000 php per night two dble beds and aircon).  Very quiet place.  My SO stayed at Mayet and said the beach was much better. 20php tricycle fare from the port.

Motor bike rentals are available.

YMMV
