Philippines k1 interview question

Greetings ! We will be having our interview next week and wanted some tips on how to answer interview question. Me and my fiance had concern about a question regarding what the job of the fiance (petitioner) is. On our i-129 f we put his most latest job at the time when we filled the petition but now he is currently working some place else. I was thinking they would say my answer is incorrect or thinking im lying if i answer that question with his current job if they are using the information we put on the i129 as their guide because ive been seeing that the CO doesnt even request affidavit of support. So how would they know his current job is different than the one we listed on the petition.  Should we mention that at the time we filled the job and what they see listed on the petiiton was his old job but currently he has a different job ? So they wont think im lying about my fiance current work

Thank you! I am such a nervous wreck

You are overthinking things way too much

I would be shocked if they asked anything about the petitioner job or work. There is no requirements you work to file a K1. And if they did just answer with the truth.

They ask simple question like how did you meet? and usually on  a few questions that are pretty basic.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Answer all questions honestly.   If they ask you could say he "currently works here", then be quiet.   If they have another question or concern they will ask.

Don't over think the interview, you would be surprised what the embassy knows... and they do not rely solely on the  I-129F

Changing jobs is common and has no effect on the interview except that you still need to meet the poverty level. The interview typically runs about 5 min. Tips on what to say and do during the interview I can say this; DON"T VOLUNTEER any information. Wait for the CO to ask a question and then look the CO in the eye and give them a short but honest answer. DON'T go into any great detail as it's not necessary and there maybe something in that answer the CO heard and you will only have additional questions. Best to be straight to the point and be confident in your answers.

Some example questions would be:

What is the name of your fiancé/e?

Where did you meet?

When did you meet?

How did you meet?

When are you planning to get married?

What is your fiancé/es work?

Have you gone out of the country?

How long were you out of the country?

How many times has your fiancé/e visited you?

Where did you go when your fiancé/e visited you?

Do you plan to have kids?

Where do you plan on staying in the US?
