So, yesterday was my medical at st.lukes. Everything was going okay and then comes the interview. I was too honest, i admitted that i have tried MJ several time 3yrs back. Will this cause me my visa? Anyway, they scheduled me for an Psych. Int on May 22, but my interview is on may 17, they asked me to cancel my interview date and then call them back once i get the results from PI after. What should i do? Please help. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Nothing yu can do but wait and see, a years delay seems the common outcome but some have sailed through.

Well, you actually did the right thing.  You told the truth.  Unfortunately, you will likely have to wait a year now.  Just remember, honesty is the best policy.  Now you won't have to worry about it coming up later.

The problem is i have a toddler with me whos under petition too. His visa is only valid for like a month after the release right?

With no background info difficult to make anything other than a general comment that visa's are good for 6 months from the date of medical.

Walay problema.  I know you don't want to hear this right now but everything happens for a reason.  My wife is from Cebu.  She's been here almost five years now and is a already a US Citizen.  Be patient, you will get there.   Hang in there.  Good luck and God Bless the four of you.  david

The psych evaluation, in reading other's experiences here is if you have no use over a year and your drug tests are negative, they shouldn't have a reason to delay you.
