Hey guys! Got a quick question. My parents are adjusting from B2 visas, I am USC. Applied for AOS in October, got AP/EAD combo in March, no news since. I am trying to plan a trip, and was wondering if I absolutely HAD to be at my parent's AOS interview if they do schedule one? My brother, a GC holder, also lives in the state where we are at, and can accompany them to interview if need be(as translator). In case the interview is scheduled for the time that I am taking my trip(as Murphy's Law applies), I wouldn't want to reschedule the interview (heard it was a huge mess to do so)... Anyone has any thoughts on the topic?

You are not needed.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
