I-134 Evidance problem.

Hey guys.

 

Me and my fiancé are having a little issue regarding getting evidence from his bank, Parkside Credit Union.

They will not provide the information that is outlined in I-134 regarding evidence of money coming in. They even escalated it up to management and they said no. 

 

If he was to print off or request and annual statement from his bank, would that be sufficient? His employer has provided the statement of employment already.

 

Anyone else come across this same issue and if so, what did you do?

W2s and tax returns and pay stubs.

I received a letter from the Bank (Bank of America), but it did not have all of the information requested. Anyway, we had no issues with what we did provide:

2017 1040 copy

2016 tax transcript (available online)

2015 tax transcript

2014 tac transcript

2013 tax transcript

 

Copy of recent bank statement

 

2 pay stubs

 

Copy of my contract

 

Letter from HR confirming my position and wages

You don’t necessarily need anything from the bank of his income is sufficient for his household size. Definitely needs tax return(s).

London allows you to self sponsor.

A lot of smaller banks/credit unions seem to not be able to supply specific letters like that, as some of the larger banks do, so it's not totally uncommon. I was able to obtain a letter from my bank (Wells Fargo) but actually had a hard time getting what I needed. However, my fiancé said they didn't even glance at that. They seemed more interested in tax info (W2s, etc.) and just general confirmation of my employment and income, which is likely the info your employer has provided you.

 

If you want to cover as many bases as possible, though, just providing some recent bank statements should be sufficient. I provided last two months' worth, which seemed to be okay, just to show the consistency of income/assets.

Is the OP just using their income? If so bank statements or letters from banks are not needed. A tax transcript and employer letter would suffice. Can toss some pay stubs in there too. You do not have to fill in items in the I-134 that don't apply/you aren't using for London cases.
