I am filing naturalizatiom application for my father. I have few question.

1. My father cannot speak english, so should i write my information on intepreter and preparer section both or only in preparer?

2. I am his biological child, so I will not be allowed to go with him in interview for intepretation. So will it be a problem if I write my name in intepreter section in n400 application.

3. Can i submit his application online?

hi

he needs to speak English and he will be asked the question, he needs to memorize the 100 questions and read and write in English, the officer will ask him questions in English about the N400 and small talk to see if he understands English

you can fill out the form for him, but he will have to know what it says for the interview. are you sure he will be prepared for the interview?

I believe you can't become us citizen if you can't speak English... that would be a little ridiculous. Your father needs to know basics at least and be able to communicate and write in English.

There are some exemptions/waivers for the English proficiency requirement:

Edit: based on the OP's prior posts, the disability one may apply here.

You could fill out the form but it wouldn‘t make much sense since he needs to be able to speak and writr english at at least basic level.

for becoming  a citizen this is necessary unless your father is over I believe 60 then there are some exceptions but i‘m not too familiar with it

1.   Yes, both.

2.  That depends on the IO....there are some who do allow immediate relatives as interpreters in the interview.  There are other IOs who prefer the interpreter not be related to the applicant.  It is up to the IO's discretion during the interview.

3.  No.  This is because the online application allows for only one electronic signature (the applicant's).  Since he is using an interpreter/preparer to complete the forms for him, he is not eligible to submit the application online.  You are also requesting a waiver (in terms of the English requirements) which also makes him ineligible to apply online.  Make sure you also include evidence in regards to his disability relating to his medical inability to learn English (I remember your previous thread), and fill out the appropriate sections related to his disability on the paper application.  You will also need to submit this form (filled out by his doctor) with his N400 as well https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/n-648.pdf
