Its not about worrying about the wording.

Its about why what is suppose to be an automated letter has two wordings.

They bulk transferred cases, why do they have multiple letters.

Sure thing. That makes sense.

My I-551 stamp expires in July, so I will be in there next month to get a new one. I'll make sure to ask during that time. But hopefully one of us learns more by then!

My extension expires next month. We are hoping for some positive outcome before having to make the 3 hr drive to get the stamp.😩

@CoffeeVegan my letter says "We have completed a preliminary review of the application or petition (your case) listed above. As part of standard processing, we transferred your case to the USCIS office listed below that has jurisdiction over your case. That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information."

So I see not all of our letters are the same..

I think this transfer is a good sign. It means there is some kind of movement after so many months of waiting. I'm hoping we'll have an update soon!

Transfer is def a good sign. My only worry is that once it sits there it becomes case by case for when our local offices are ready to request file for interview.

If thats the case then order of filing goes out the window and some from feb 2017 filers will get interview next week and some oct 2016 filers might not hear anything til 2019. Which is unfair.

As a dec filer as soon as dec gets approved and I dont hear anything im going all out with senators office lawyers and any options I have even it angers them and puts more scrutiny on my file, closure is what im after now including denial 😂

We all have different local offices with different processing times. Some take 4 months for N400 some take 2 years

NBC is known to only recieve the files to prep them for local offices for interviews.

So if NBC is not approving our cases then that means they are prepping our files for local offices making file approvals on a case by case bases depending on your local office timeline

Been thinking about what @ApplyingforN400 and that's definitely an option (our cases waiting at NBC until our local office asks for them) but I honestly thought our files were transferred to NBC because our local office already asked for it. I've seen several people who got interview notice right after the transfer. I know all we can do is sit and wait... but I can't help but to think about it all the time!
