May 3rd still waiting 😪😴

This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes Psalm 118:23:)

Kindred spirits are not so scarce as I used to think. It's splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world.”

No updates on myuscis account, but I checked case status and it had this:

"On May 25, 2018, your general inquiry, referral number XXXXXXXXXXXXXCSC, was assigned to an officer for response."

Guessing this is the response to an old inquiry from a while back. So nothing really has changed yet :(

I remember my time line is exactly like yours. I was convinced thats whats going to happen and after NBC transfer its going depend on our local offices.

my Local offices processing is excatly like yours too, I could assume my interview is coming soon but even you’re not close to the 9.5 average. So I wouldnt be Surprised if a couple of months or more for my interview.

One thing is clear though, we are kissing that 10 year green card good by, will never see it.

I'd rather get that glorious blue passport than the 10 year green card, though I wouldn't mind getting both for keepsake :D

Can’t NBC approve the I751 then send the N400 to local office?  Or NBC has no rights to approve any case, their job is gather documents and send to local office.

My my local office for N400 is about 11 months, I don’t want to wait another year without clear my pending status, this is frustrating.

I think NBC is, as you said, just gather documents, make sure everything is in order and forward to appropriate office. Then again, the fact that some cases were transferred to NBC might mean that local offices were ready to schedule interviews so they requested our pending i751s be taken out of the queues and send over to local offices since they caught up with the process before i751s were approved.

I don’t think NBC is just a collector of documents, if it was they would send it from CSV to the local offices directly, in my opinion NBC is doing an important role in our cases , I don’t know specifically what they’re doing but it’s changed the process as we saw already with many cases
