Petitioner/Preparer/Interpreter confusion

Hello again all,

 

This is probably a silly question. But as a person filling out this form (ME), i am the petitioner correct? I fill out Part 5 (Petitioner's Statement, contact information, declaration and signature) part of the document. Correct? 

 

No one is interpreting this form for me so I should just leave the Part 6 (Interpreter's contact Information, Certification, and Signature) portion blank? or should i enter N/A in that each field in Part 6?

 

There is also Part 7 (Contact information, Declaration, and Signature of the person preparing this petition, if other than the petitioner). Should i also leave this portion blank? or write N/A for each field in this section.

EDIT: Which form specifically are you filling out? Are you the US citizen or the foreign fiance/spouse? I'm guessing this is for I-130, but please clarify to make sure.

 

Sign & date part 5 (if you are the US citizen because that makes you the petitioner; if you are the foreigner, you are the beneficiary).

 

Leave sections 6 and 7 blank. "Preparer" really means "legal representative" if you used one to help with the forms.
