Hello all,

I have a few questions regarding providing circumstances for in-person meeting.

I want to provide detailed information about how we met and all that but there isn't enough space in i129F form. Do i just enter in the small space provided that please refer to the an attached letter or something?

Is this letter also where i provide photographs and boarding passes, etc?

Also this is unrelated question: I am not engaged yet. I plan on proposing later this month when i visit her but we both agreed to start the processes sooner rather than later. Do they require a proof that we're engaged (engagement ring receipt or something) as part of filling out I129F form? We have met several times this year.

thanks.

Yes can put "See Attachment #**" and use seperate page to outline how you met. It doesn't have to be 2 pages long. Just can be simple. Like "We met online 2 years ago. One year ago in July I went and visited them in person for 2 weeks". Literally that's all it has to be; but you can go into depth if you wish. We used about 20 sentences for ours. A lot use way less.

No, no "proof" of engagement is needed. No rings, nothing. The letter of intent you both fill out and sign is the "proof" as you both state you are going to marry.
