That's just the standard message there. There aren't really instructions per say. When that screen says "Ready" (It will say "In Transit" before ready) you can fill out and submit your DS160 and schedule your interview according to Packet 3 & 4 for your specific embassy. Fill out your profile info to include the country where you'll be interviewing and people may be able to get you more specific help! Good Luck!

Disregard the instructions..they dont apply to k1 visa. Wait until it goes in transit and when it's ready follow instructions from your country's portal.

We received our packet 3 today but I'm confused about this part it says "Chat logs from social media DO NOT PUT IN WORD DOCUMENT they must be printed directly from the site" How do you print whats app chats? I already made screen shots and put them in a word document but according to packet 3 thats not acceptable. Suggestions anyone? And people who have been approved in Nigeria did you print your whats app chats directly from the site?

For whatsapp I believe you can download a desktop version and might be able to print chats from there more easily than from the app itself.

Hi @Dave_and_Jessa I've been following all your updates on your application. Since you're ahead of me I would like to ask questions if it's OK. 

We just called NVC and got our case number but our case is still at NVC. Am I allowed to do things already like appointment stuff even without the packet 3 yet? Please I need your help on what should I do next or can I do things ahead of time. Thanks for your help in advance. Btw, my consulate is Philippines as well.

I've been on the June forum and people there who got their approval on the 1st week of June already got their case number from NVC. So I just tried my luck and asked my fiance to call NVC and thank God we got our case number. 

We got our NOA2 last may 30 btw but idk when NVC received our case my fi forgot to ask.

Wow lucky for them..well i just goy an email today from NVC.We got our case number . They said they will notify me once its forwarded to the US Embassy Manila..NO2 May 23....i wonder if we can start schedule for medical or interview..

Did you actually try contacting the Embassy before you received Packet 3? Or did they contact you first?

Also, did the beneficiary receive an email or the petitioner? And did you contact NVC to give them beneficiary's email address?

USEM will not send any packets.  If you have your case number you can start everything.  Pay for the interview, schedule 12-24 hours later, submit your ds-160, do your medical exam.  There is no need to wait for anything from Manila.

You can pay the interview fee and then you will be able to schedule 12-24 hours later.  St. Lukes doesn't schedule medical exams, it's first come, first serve, you can go whenever you think you are ready.  It will take 2 days.  Make sure you have all the requirements as to not cause any delays.
