Hey guys anyone of you had to get vaccines besides the medical exam? Or it depends on the country? I have to pay 200$ extra for those vaccines besides 195$ of the medicam exam

O yes! For my country, you pay for the Medical and the tests determine the vaccines to pay for.

I think that varies alot by country.  My fiance is in the Philippines and vaccines are included in the medical fee there, but the medical exam in Manila is well over $300.  It sucks for those who might already have them since they still have to pay the same fee, but my fiance doesn't have them so she'll just get them there since we have to pay for them either way.

The official word on vaccines though is that they are not required for the K1 Visa itself.  They ARE required for the actual Adjustment of Status application, however, so it makes sense to get them anyway.  BUT, you might be able to get them for less money so look around.  It looks like some medical facilities that don't already include the vaccines do that as a scare tactic.  They use fear and uncertainty to upsell vaccines for more than they might normally cost.

No there no places to go to get them cheaper. I am just confused because I don't know if I have them already. But lets see. Everything is needed for a reason.

The statement should be from an Official of the Bank or other Institutions you have deposits, and the Letter should contain;

1) Date, Account was opened

2) Total Amount deposited in the last year

3)Present Balance

I haven't seen one yet, so thanks!

Just got NOA2 today, May 2. Oct 27 NOA1.

Fiance is in the Philippines so we've already been working on preparing her docs and it looks like it is one of the quickest turnaround embassies with as little as a week waiting time for interview appointments :)

If you would like some help with the Process in the PI here is a great website with everyday knowledge of what it takes to successfully process at USEM.

ohh yeah I forgot to include that, but I just got a new NBI last Wed (I have an October NBI file but jst decided to get a new one).

I am looking at getting my interview 1st week of June. I'm still waiting for my Case number before I can proceed.

God bless you and thank you for replying :)

In case you are not familiar with this I offer it for your review: NBI and CENOMAR are the documents that the embassy is picky about for being "too old", they don't like either document to be older than 6 months at the time of interview.

Hey guys do you know if I can submit the ds-160 form and pay it without having the documents in the embassy?

I wanna get done with that now. I know i cant book the interview till it says ready.

When does the  DS-160 need to be filled out?  I got my NO2 5/4/2018.

There is no "official" requirement for filing the DS-160 but to have it ready before the interview.  There is nothing stopping you from completing it once you have your NOA2. If it where me I like to get things "off my desk" as soon as I can and be done with it.

No...

Only the Wac #...

Are you using the "WAC#" interchangeable with the "receipt number"? The term WAC signifies that the case was adjudicated in California. I submit this for your review: http://www.laborimmigration.com/2015/06/uscis-receipt-numbers-explained-lin-src-eac-wac-ioe/

All I129F packets are sent to the Texas office; but depending on their processing capacity and also your petitioner’s place of residence, they may forward their case to another service center which can be any of the below:

– California Service Center
– Nebraska Service Center
– Texas Service Center
– Vermont Service Center

Knowing this I would say it's the "receipt number on the NOA1" that should be used.  Correct me if I am wrong please. Thanks.

Yes! We know about the Centres, but all K-1s have been sent to CSC of recent. So, we use WAC# as a short code for receipt number when asked as everyone has a WAC number now.

Thank you. I just didn't want a "newbie" to be confused as to what you are referring to and or where they can find that number.
