I can tell you that P3 for GUZ is only 4 line items:

 

1. DS-160 Confirmation Page

2. Copy of Passport Personal Page

3. 2 Passport style photos White Background, Well Lit, 50mm x 50mm

4. Return the P3 instructions page

 

#4 is what prevents people in China from getting a head start, they want the instructions page mailed back with the requested documents. If you find anything different then what I posted here can you scan and email a copy of the P3 letter. I use for folks just like yourself. PM me when you get the P3 if you will. Thank you.

Any estimates how long? How long has it been taking for all of you for your case to leave NVC?

Just from trends on VJ, I've seen anywhere from around 1-2 weeks average, but of course ones happen that are earlier and ones that take longer

I've found where to fill out the DS-160, and I'm doing that now. Can I go ahead and schedule the interview. Do I need to finish filling out the forms first? Sorry for asking a lot; I just want to make sure that I've done everything right. I sent an email to the embassy like you suggested.

The DS-160 can be completed all the way up to the day before the interview, so choose what works for you. It's an important document so what I suggest is that the two of you fill it out together and then the beneficiary will be the one to submit it. The most important thing is to be truthful and to make sure your spelling is perfect for names.

 

Each Embassy is different in how the handle the interview scheduling. Some will schedule for you others will let you go online and schedule. I'm not sure how your Embassy will handle. I suggest you go over to the Sub-forum for China here on VJ where there are a lot of people who can help you out with specific questions. Hi guys.Our case was approved May 23,2018. We are still waiting for our NVC case number.I thought it only take about 2 weeks to get the number.My fiance called and was told it will take about 7 weeks for them to receive our file from USCIS..Anyone one here on the same boat?

Everyone is in the same boat and are now dead in the water till they receive their case number. But what some are doing is getting ready once they receive the number. For you, you should do the following.

 

Visit Hanks website where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

Quick question. My fiance is doing his police report now its asking if we have a case number and an officer assigned to our case number.  We dont have one I am assuming bc it's a k1 visa? Does he just check no and they send his police report?
