Why am I concerned with the wait?? I’m concerned/annoyed/impatient with the wait because that’s basic human nature. I’m approaching the end of a very long visa ordeal, I’m separated from the one I love and that’s just hard, plain and simple. People vent when they’re frustrated, that’s  normal.

They received our case on 12th and got case number on 13th June.

I agree! I too am WAITING for my case to leave the NVC as well. I don’t know who would be happy waiting and being in limbo. I wouldn’t ever pay to be In this spot, I would pay anything actually BE with the person that I love (for me, the man whose child I’m carryinf).  Everyone wants this to be over, so no need to devalue or discredit someone else’s feelings/experience. I will continue to lament this wait until I reach the end goal.

Hi all, I am filling out my DS160 when I see the question: Has your U.S. Visa ever been cancelled or revoked?

I am not sure how to fill in. I had F1 visa (student visa before) and when I got B2, they stamped 'Cancelled without prejudice' on my F1 visa.

Shall I answer 'yes' with explanation or 'No'?

 

Anyone had similar situation??

I wouldn’t count is as cancelled but I really don’t know if it would be correct. You can chose cancelled and put an explanation as cancelled without prejudice due to new visa application. But I still don’t think it counts as that.

Thank you for your answer!!  (I wrote to embassy as well, they told me to put 'No' which is the same as your thought.)

 

Looks like there's only one record could be input for previous visa. So I fill in my B2 visa info.  But with my past entry history in i94 (I studied in US before), I have several entries which are only 7-15 days, and one record which is 1.5 year, will it be very confusing for CO as I have no place to fill in my previous F1 visa info into DS160.

No worries they would have all your records one way or another. Just insert whatever you can. mine also looked crazy long because too many short entries but it was ok.

Yes. My fiance just got done with her medical today and she still hasn't received packet 3. In fact, our case is still "At NVC."

Well, Jessa completed the first day of her medical today so we’ll find out later tonight if she’s clear or not.  It’s nerve wracking but the silver lining is that she needed a chest X-ray for her new job 7 months ago and everything was clear.  But she’s had a mild cold for the last few days which I guess could show up on the X-ray. We’ll see!  Sputum test would put us back 3-4 months but we’ll do whatever needs to get done.

Our case is finally "Ready" at the embassy! :-)

I had a question... Can we schedule the medical and interview now? We still haven't received packet 3, but I'm assuming we should be receiving that soon. Am I clear to schedule the medical and interview as my case is showing "ready" before receiving packet 3?

I'm not 100% but I believe that you would be able to schedule the medical, but the process is embassy specific for scheduling the interview. The only necessary requirement is that the medical is at least 2 weeks prior to the interview in order to get your results in time for the interview. As well, the medical is good for 6 months which is PLENTY of time before the interview
