Is there an app to tell you if they received your case at NVC or do we just keep calling an hope? Lol

I knew my case would be sent out today ( June 13 ) and it was haha! Because I noticed @Dave_and_Jessa case got sent out yesterday (June 12) 

Now it says READY at Guangzhou embassy. Yay!!!!!! It's speeding up now. Waiting for the P3 to come now. Hopefully GUZ embassy can be more efficient lol

Everybody who is still waiting for the case to leave please hang in there ! It'll happen soon!!! 

 

NVC received : June 7

Case# received: June 7

Case left : June 13

Ready: June 14 ( same day at China time )

Call tomorrow.. Our case was received on Tuesday and got the case number yesterday.

In the meantime you can get all documents ready including I-134 , fill form ds-160 (save it don't submit yet) and do research on the medical process in your countries embassy.

No...I was saying do research so you have information on how to go about it once your case leaves NVC most of the advice people give for medicals is to do it 2 weeks before the interview.

Does the joint sponsor need to fill out the I 134 and provide supporting evidence just like me (the petitioner) or they need to fill out I 864??

Yes you must call NVC to get your case number. Best time to call:

 

Right after they open which is around 7:00pm Philippine time/ 7:00am US Eastern Time, Mon-Fri. I was always able to have the phone answered after the first ring if I called right at 7am.

 

Checking on your embassy case number:

It will take2-4 weeks for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 2 weeks for NVC to get your file in there system and get the case #.  Call 7:00am eastern time for shorter wait times K1's are not tracked through the AVR, ever. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

 

1-603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888. Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)

 

1 for English, then 7 (or 5, but I would go 7 as they would tell you if you should call 5 instead after they receive your case.)

 

 

After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:
