I believe that's just a glitch as they process K1s as IV (when they do provide the date) when they are actually NIV.  Ours says the same thing and we scheduled the interview ourselves days ago.  So I know they didn't provide us with a date.

Usually it only takes a few days but can be a week or longer.  Just depends.

Our case was received yesterday.. They told us to call back in 8 weeks.... Is this some normal answer they give everyone? We were thinking to call back tomorrow.

It's normal. They told me that, but I called back after 3 hours and got the case #.

1-5 days for Nigeria..mine left on Friday and Embassy (Ready) received it on Monday.

yes ....  always !!!  they say the same..... 8 weeks 

Our case.... 12 days ( was received  1 june and  left   NVC .....12 june.

Now ... in transit.

I called this morning and the guy says 6 weeks but might be sooner! He was very nice. He also said to call Friday then Monday if we haven't heard anything!

I'm at 2.5 weeks since NOA2 and I have called probably 5 times since last week hahaha. I'm anticipating around the 4 week mark just to be on the safe side from the trends I have seen here, but yes EVERY TIME I were to call the candid response is "6 weeks"

we are same date. I just called, the representative told me it has not been received yet. i should expect 6 weeks for them to receive. And I should call them again next week and see if it has been received. haha. I feel I am not in a hurry. Just wait and see how long it could take.

Ahh the same day! 5/25 NOA2! You will have to keep me informed on when you receive a case number hopefully we receive them around the same time! This type of wait I agree is better than waiting the dreaded NOA2 wait which seems like it will never end! When is your fiance "anticipating" their POE?

haha  sure. I will let you know. but probably you may be the first one to receive it. I don't plan to call again until next week.

I am the fiancee and am the beneficiary. Honestly, I don't know. But I expect the visa will be issued by end of Aug. not sure if this is feasible.

Ahh end of August I would say definitely earlier than that! I would anticipate a POE of late July early August, once the embassy receives the application I think it should be within 3-4 weeks after that. I hate having to wait months for my fiance though still! I was anticipating of having him come here for a week or so but now I feel as if we are too far along to risk anything that could hinder his medical or interview time slot

or maybe you could go to his country and keep him accompany for his interview

I thought about that as well, but I've already used around 2.5 weeks of vacation this year to visit and we wanted to keep the last week for once his AP is approved and we can travel back to Spain together at the end of the year hopefully. So at the moment we are just stuck waiting, the typical waiting game
