My fiance called the NVC today. They have no reason or explenation why our case is still at the NVC, and they can't provide us with information.

I called the NVC this morning in reference to receiving an actual case number and they gave me the "6 weeks" ordeal..

The wait it still frustrating, but it should be much shorter than waiting on the NOA2 :P

Yes I definitely agree with you on that! That wait was horrendous really, I do feel a bit of a relief with not having to sit months, months, and months on the unknowns. It's better to have your eyes be more narrowed in on the upcoming prize!!

So much for trying to hurry the process....after completing everything including mrv fee(30th may)....there's no dates available at Nairobi for interviews.

So my NOA2 date is May 8 and I've been calling NVC almost everyday but today I got impatient and decided to call USCIS call center to see if my case had been forwarded to NVC yet. The answer I got back was kind've surprising and I'm wondering if any of you experienced the same. The customer service rep said 'We have no record of it being sent to NVC yet but it takes our system 90 days to update' (Sounds like bullshit) and he said 'If you don't hear from NVC within 90 days, to call USCIS and they can investigate'

You know they might be backlogged..i remember a few months ago it took two months to reach NVC. My NoA2 is also May 8th and it was received on Thursday last week... Hopefully they will recieve it this week. Just call to get an update. I called twice every day last week lol.good luck!!

I called this morning and they gave me the "6 week" statement, as you can see you are being told 90 days I'm told technically 42 days..

As well, the day that I called USCIS wondering my application status was the actual day that my application was approved but they told me wait a few more weeks.

You really should update your timeline. When did you get your case number?

3 weeks and still not at NVC yet.  Interestingly enough, the guy I talked to today not only said it can take up to 6 weeks for USCIS to send the case, but then it can take NVC up to 8 weeks to process the case.  But he did add that with K1s they basically don't do anything other than assigning the number and send it to the embassy; not news to anyone here but still nice that he added that in.  Frustrating that things seem like they might have slowed down, but I'm not worried.  The longest wait is still over, so I'm all good.

11/14/17 129F mailed

11/17/17 NOA1

05/14/18 NOA2

06/06/18 NVC received and case # assigned

06/12/18 left NVC

06/13/18 Manila Embassy received

06/13/18 CFO completed at Clark Pampanga

06/18-19/18 Medical exam

07/10/18 Interview - APPROVED!!

07/29/18 POE
