They will need BC and marriage and divorce (if either of you were previously married/divorced) for both of you. USC can submit a copy but beneficiary needs to present original and copy at the time of the interview.

So if I was previously married my original documents have to go to the beneficiary??

Then a copy of your documents are fine for the interview. Scan and email your documents to your beneficiary. You see the Embassy trusts the petitioner's documents because they are secured from within the US from a reputable source. Whereas in other countries that is not always the case hence the requirement for the beneficiary to produce original documents at the interview.

Tax return is required document for proving you meet or exceed the poverty guidelines and the beneficiary can be supported. There is less paperwork if you go to the IRS website and download Tax Transcripts, which is desired by the Embassy's rather than 1040's. There free and you can get them immediately without waiting.

https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

W-2 and employer letters are not enough. Follow the document requirements from this page as it asked for the max that any Embassy will ask for.

Here is a thread on the processing experiences of some from Malaysia just a year ago. Use as a good primer as to what to expect.

My fiancé is from Brazil. Our case left NVC on May 29 and the status still shows in transit.

Kinda bit of worried. Some cases to Brazil only took 1 to 3 days for them to receive. Can we actually book the interview and medical now without waiting for that status showing Ready? We haven’t received an email from the RJ consulate. We have all the documents completed (DS-160, 134). Some people say that we can book the interview and medical but that depends on the country. So has anyone from Brazil able to book an interview without waiting for that email instruction?

Thanks!
