After case have been approved last month I got another notice today stating what we did not request for , certicate of nutralization? He'll no @Greenbaumwhat do you think.

Such strong language "we will destroy the document" lol

I think just call them and let them know that is not you. I think they made a mistake. Especially because its the new system. I wouldn't worry too much.

That's very strange. I assume you were not expecting anything to mailed to you, right? So the notice is not from anything you applied for?

 

My wife has a GC and just this week I got a email saying that her documents were in the mail to us and when I check the case number at USCIS it says it's been received. I check the tracking number with the post office and they say they haven't received the "package" from USCIS. So strange because her GC is for 10 years and so there is no reason to receive anything at this time.

 

For your case, it wouldn't hurt to call USCIS. Let us know what information you can gather from that call.

This is what it shows on the website. NVC hasn’t received our case yet, I’m trying not to worry too much I know some here have told me theirs took around 4 weeks and were at 3.

Oh then I would think it was just a backdated reply. This website seems to be sending weird notifications all around so don’t worry for now. It does take a month for some cases especially recently.

Well in your case and quoting from NVC website, if you haven't heard from nvc or a case number have not yet been generated for your case means the availability of K visa in your beneficiary country is not yet decided maybe you are to join this month of June when the visas are available then they will generate a case number for you and send your case to your local consulate.

I think it's some else certificate of nutralization or citizenship sent for verification and the person will be expecting it back and now it's under another person's recipt number.

It can take up to 6 weeks. But I have noticed a trend that they usually recieve it the latest by 4 weeks
