Wow. Thanks. So... would he be permitted to enter as a tourist post-approval but before he has his k-1 in hand?

After petition approval(noa2) yes, after k1 interview (approval) no.

Thanks you're right, I just need to be patient a little bit longer.  :)

I've wondered this myself... do they have a record of how many times we've called in?  Do they get annoyed and lie to us to troll us?

No they don't do that..that would be un professional. Also their hours are from 7 am to 12am est so it can really change at any time. You can call as many time as you like. In the last 3 days i called three times a day lol because i was freaking out a little bit. But then i saw there were people waiting long than me..

There is always comfort in knowing you're not alone. So dont worry and just call them daily if you want. They will get your case soon and issue an id.

I called after 7 days. Lol

I just wanted to get the feel of their customer service. They are so nice and understanding. I mean i was surprised. I had a random chat with one rep lol

But my recommendation is enjoy the first two weeks because you waited long to get here. Then call. Some cases reach after 14 to 15 days. So you might be thise lucky ones.

I travel to the US almost every month on my B2 visa. I went to the us a couple of weeks ago after NOA 2 and I am going again next week. I never had problems with my B2 visa.

Good god, medicals in London are crazy. I thought I'd book because I saw the dates on here being quite late. So even if the consulate hasn't received my case,  but the earliest appointment they had was the 29th June and there is a 2 page cancellation list. Looks like I'm going to be cutting everything very fine!!

Indeed I have the NVC number, and when I say consulate I mean the London Embassy (My status is showing as in Transit since Tuesday). I didn't want to do anything until it said ready but I think I'm glad I decided to make the call today.

Yeh the only slot available too, so just a heads up to anyone who is applying at the London Embassy. It seems to be very busy right now.

Desperately waiting for the case number so I can figure out how long have to wait for medical and interview.....

24th May.. So still few weeks to wait.. I guess..

Should hopefully be by the end of next week :) Keep your chin up! The longest waiting part is over now, this despite the volume at the moment is still a faster time than the NOA1 to NOA2 date :D Which means your days closer to being forever with your fiance!
