You can but I doubt you will receive the P3 until they are notified with your case being in house. Maybe the following will kickstart the gathering of the necessary documents for your interview.

https://photos.state.gov/libraries/nigeria/487468/pdfs/Interview_Prep_Packet_K1-K3_SEP14.pdf

Fiance/Fiancee visas (K1s, K3s)

If your K1 or K3 petition has been approved by the Department of Homeland Security and you have received notification from the National Visa Center that your petition is on its way to post, you should download and complete the following application. The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos will contact you when your petition has arrived at post so that you may schedule your appointment. If you have questions, you may e-mailLagosIV@state.gov. [Click to open "Interview Preparatory Packet (K1, K3)"PDF 539KB] Also, please review the pamphlet “Information on the Legal Rights Available to Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence in the United States and Facts about Immigrating on a Marriage-Based Visa.”  (PDF 53KB)

Thanks

Anyone know if the us dept of state website is working? Was trying to fill out the DS 160 last night and kept getting a request timed-out error.. sooooooo annoying holy cow. Just wondering if anyone else had the same or similar problem and if anyone knows if it’s fixed by now.. thanks! Hoping I can finish it tonight and finally schedule his interview!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

While you are getting the document prepared for interview how about you? Are you getting prepared? To that end let me share with you some of the questions that maybe asked of you during your interview with some added tips.

Some example questions would be:

What is the name of your fiancé/e?

Where did you meet?

When did you meet?

How did you meet?

When are you planning to get married?

What is your fiancé/es work?

Have you gone out of the country?

How long were you out of the country?

How many times has your fiancé/e visited you?

Where did you go when your fiancé/e visited you?

Do you plan to have kids?

Where do you plan on staying in the US?

These are some of the questions but rest assure that all the questions will be about the petitioner, the beneficiary, and the relationship. Always tell the truth even if the truth is "I don't know". Don't rush in answering and give a straightforward answer. Keep your replies SHORT because the CO is listening for something you'll say that will cause them to begin questioning you deeper. Look the CO in the eye when answering and smile. Don't give a novel as your answer. Just brief and concise. Don't volunteer any information unless asked, this could send you down the wrong road.

Don't forget to ask if you passed.

It's working for me. DOS is not the only place that you can get a copy of the DS-160. Try a Google search for DS-160 and you will see multiple places to which to get the form from.

They need;

* 6 Passport Photos

* Passport

* Copy of Passport Data Page

* Copy of Interview Appointment Letter

* A copy of Vaccination/Medical Record (if any)

There will be samples' analysis, including X-ray and Physical Examination.  After which, they determine the vaccines to be given, but the vaccines needed for US Immigration includes;

* TDT = Tetanus & Diphtheria Toxoids

* IPV = Inactivated Polio Vaccine

* Varicella

* MMR = Measles, Mumps & Rubella

* Influenza

After two weeks, the Applicant goes back to the Clinic to pick up the result for the Interview.

For Togo they scheduled the interview for us and there is no “packet 4”. We were able to pick up the information referred to as packet 3 at the embassy and my fiancé brings all the paperwork back the day of the interview. Plus he was instructed he will pay the fee the day of the interview.
