I am sorry for being so annoying. But I like to be sure. Priority date is when I submitted the Ds- 160 form?

Priority date is the RECEIVED date on your NOA1. This is from NVC. ;)

Priority date is not used with the K-1 visa, you could enter any date you want.

What’s the avaerage time it’s taking for the NVC to receive your case? Our NOA2 was the 14th according to our paper, the 15th via the website.

We are at the 2 week mark and they don’t have it yet, when is a realistic expectation for it to be in?

So I know that we shouldn't plan flights/weddings/etc in advance but I really need to arrange a flight and accompanying services for my pooch. What is the average time between acceptance and visa on hand? I know that there are a lot of variables. I would just like to get a vague idea.

Can you get flight insurance? That's your best bet as there are too many variables.

Do you have your interview date already?

Sending your case to the consulate depends on the availability of k visa in your country in that very month nvc receive your case.

So if your case is taking longer than 15 to 17 day with nvc then know that K visa is not readly available at that moment maybe until the following month batch """"quoting from NVC website"

I saw a posting in this thread referencing that USCIS possibly sends the applications to the NVC in batches, certain times are more prevalent depending on what time of the month it is. Has anyone seen trends of what time frame of the months has higher received cases or is it completely random? I'm a newbie! Just received my NOA2 yesterday! :D
