Your under normal processing time. Normal turnaround once NVC has your case will be near to 2-3 weeks. You can't control nor can anyone explain why someone gets there _______ before yours. It's just how it works. Knowing this and combining it with patience will see you through this game.

I don't have too much experience yet at this stage as we just received NOA2, but from the experience with the USCIS, I feel as if they always tell you the ultimate maximum time period that you will need to wait, so I wouldn't worry.

They told me the wait time for my RFE response would be 60 days and it was 3 weeks which seemed to be the average, I would go with the average that everyone is referencing with the 2-4 week time period

So this is the page that shows up in the online system to schedule an interview.

Where it asks for case id, this is referring to the case number that NVC gives us?

Thank you in advance for answering my question. And also i apologize for being redundant.

Don't apologize for asking questions! (:

To answer your question yes I believe thats where you put your case number but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

When filling out the Affidavit of support under section "Beneficiary's Children" Do I have to fill that part out? I am the petitioner/sponsor and my fiance is the beneficiary. We have a child together but our child was born in the U.S and lives in the U.S. with me.

Do I fill that part out only  if our child was in Nigeria with my fiance and would be traveling with him to the U.S?

You fill that part out because your child is dependent on you.

But please correct me if i am wrong. Also the last 3 years of taxes will show that too, that you have a child dependent on you.
