Good Morning Group! I am an October filer and received my NOA2 this morning!! May 29th!!

I have seen the trends and discussion with an approximate amount of waiting times for NVC Case # to be assigned so now I will give it a couple weeks and see what happens then! How soon approximately have the trends been for time frames of people's interviews after NOA2 received? Thanks!!!

The same thing stands
Wait 14 days. Then call them.

If they don't have ur case then, adjust how often u call based on what u see happening to those in this group with similar approval date.

Congratulations on ur approval!

I have been trying to call the NVC today at 603-334-0700, they say all their specialists are busy and then the line drops. Is this normal or do they usually put you on hold until someone is available?

I don't know about "normal"
But they were closed yesterday for Memorial Day. And you're calling in the middle of the day. I can imagine every soul and their mother calling right now so it is possible they are at their maximum capacity on agents and calls being held.

call them after 7pm EST
That's ur best shot to get someone

So I am confused as to the wait times from NOA2 to NVC to case number.. I have been calling in regularly and they keep telling me it is taking up to 8 weeks to get a case number. Everyone seems to be getting their case number pretty quickly and I was expecting the 2-3 week wait time as well.

Online NOA2 - April 27th

Paper NOA2 - May 1st

Date NVC received case - May 10th

Any ideas as to what is going on or anyone else in a similar situation? Thank you.

Your under normal processing time. Normal turnaround once NVC has your case will be near to 2-3 weeks. You can't control nor can anyone explain why someone gets there _______ before yours. It's just how it works. Knowing this and combining it with patience will see you through this game.

Each Embassy is different so no one can give an idea. Average is 3-4 weeks but there are so many factors to consider. More information is here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Spain&cty=Madrid
