yes and the fact that the lady told me to scan it to my fiancee is very important.

so for me it seems like they're working with the date the user signed on the form rather than the form expiration date. that's the first point.

second

as far as i already have they actual one, there's no problem. i'll have  my fiancee fill the one we receive and i'll go to the interview with both so if i  give it to them and they refuse saying it's expired, then i'll give them the big one,

but i'll send them a mail asking for precision on this

I was going to say (but I was waiting for the discussion) that if I were you I'd fill out both I134's and bring both to the interview with all supporting documents.

Perhaps the agents at your consulate have no idea what they are doing by giving you the expired form and perhaps once you get into the interview they would require the unexpired one.

I wouldn't want to risk it....

Good idea. I would go with both just to play it safe. It's confusing since the embassy gave you an expired one and they very much know what they're doing. But be safe and take both.

Please what is packet 3 all about

Here, use this one for reference. Packet 3 for Nigeria. The one the consulate will send you will be the most updated one. Packet 3 gives you all the necessary steps before your interview.

Not sure if this makes a difference to anyone but I just called the NVC and the employee told me that as of May 21, all K1 cases will no longer be sent electronically to the embassies. So if rec’d on or after May 21 then it is snail mailed to the embassy.

Also.. our petition is still sitting at the NVC.. I am getting so impatient at this point ☹️ I know it doesn’t help to be impatient but... Ugh!!! ok well maybe Monday 🙄🤞🏼

You have two choices. First, you fill out the one that the Embassy gave you and bring it to the interview. If by chance it's correct then no worries BUT if they say no, this document is the wrong one and it has expired. :girlwerewolf2xn:<------ Jean baptiste. Then you will get what's called a 221(g) which means get the document, complete the document and submit it back to the Embassy for their review. They will not approve your visa until you answer to their satisfaction the 221(g).

Second, Fill out both and bring them to the interview. Either way you've solved your dilemma.  :D

I think you'll are making a big deal about this. jean baptiste has a different issue then most here have. The others should go to the official website and download the current I-134 and be done with. Why make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Hey just a question, what is the correct approval date of NOA2? The email we got states they approved our I-129F on May 10, but our NOA2 letter has a notice date of May 9.

Congrats to everyone who got their case number!! We're getting so close now.

Am not sure the lady is saying the right thing, any changes made will be announced on the uscis website and I haven't seen any like that, plus posting the petition through transit can have a 50-50 delivery.

So they won't start that, plus it will cost them more money.

Looking for help; we got our NVC number and when we check our status it shows this. We haven’t got any other instructions so we followed the link here and it says step 1 is to ‘choose an agent’ by filling out DS261...is that needed? When I try to fill it out it brings me back to a page saying to fill out the DS160. Then it says to ‘pay fees’ and when I try to pay for the affidavit of support it brings me back to the same page about the DS160. Are these steps required or what do we need to do at this point?

Do not follow that link.

that is just wording for immigrant cases. K1 gets processed at embassy. Wait till your case gets “ready”.

you don’t need to do anything at this moment.
