It's the number listed above her name on the NOA2. Keep the NOA2 safe as you will need it for future use and the A-number will be asked again.

I was going to ask what that number above my name was too! Good to know!

Hi everyone, wanted some help with a question on the DS-160. I’m from Northern Ireland and anyone from here can hold dual citizenship (United kingdom and Ireland). I have had both Irish and British passports previously and currently I have both! Should I answer yes to both of these questions? Thanks

Hi to Everyone,

I am just preparing for steps post NOA2 to be taken in India - Mumbai Embassy.

If I’m not wrong the order of procedure is as follows:

  1. After NOA2 approval , case goes to NVC ( takes about 20-25 days)
  2. Case number n all is assigned and then it is transferred to Mumbai Embassy ( takes about 15 days)
  3. In the meanwhile DS-160 , i134 n other required documents can be prepared n kept ready.
  4. After Mumbai Embassy receives the request, packet 3 letter or information is sent to beneficiary n interview can be scheduled.

My questions in respect to India are:

a).When can the DS-160 be submitted and fees be paid at NVC stage or only after Mumbai Embassy sends the letter to beneficiary?

b) Same for medical n Visa Interview- how early can they be scheduled?

c) What is the minimum time gap required between medical n Visa Interview for Mumbai ? Can they be done in one week’s time.

d) After visa is approved at Embassy, in how many days approximately do you get your passport back ? Is it necessary for you to go n collect your passport or they can courier it to you?

Would appreciate any answers to help me prepare my timeline better . I have already posted it in Mumbai forum , but since not many members are there - asking for advice here.

Thanks so much for helping out !!!

Whom did they send too ......beneficiaryor petitioner?

For the Nigerian embassy I requested packet 3.. They sent me an automated message then packet 3 came today via email to me. (I am the petitioner)

I forwarded the email to my fiancee as well. He already submitted the ds160 and is going to pay the visa fee, schedule interview and medical

Here are references that will answer most of your questions.

You should ask your questions in the India sub-forum where you get answer from those who are processing now or who are helping others. Ppl here are just learning, like you, what needs to be done in THEIR Embassy and may or may not have the information you are looking for that's why I suggest the sub-forums.

What evidence would work?

ive heard people just use a print out/screenshot of their CEAC ?

sorry for the questions haha :P

The Interview letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) or Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation (CEAC) from the Embassy (just print off a screen shot of the confirmation page once your appointment has been secured) either or.

Here's the CEAC site where you put in your case number and get the status to be screen printed:
