So today has been a bit crazy, got an email from NVC, case is now in transit!And then my medical got moved up from June 13th to May 29th! So, my fiancee is putting the final touches to the affidavit and will send once we get packet 3.

Also got an email saying my case has been expedited, but I didn't file for one? Either was I guess not much can come from expediting it now anyway. Has anyone else seen this?

They use the term "expedited" on all of them. Doesn't mean much.

@José y Yeny and @Mara Liceth when can we schedule our interviews? Do we have to complete packet 3/4 or can we schedule once the embassy receives the petition and we fill the DS 160?

Good luck ladies looks like your cases are moving with good speed!! Exciting :D

Oh I see. I just thought it was strange since they said my embassy “has approved your request for expedited visa processing”. Thanks anyway!

Thank you! I think we can book the interview ones we pay the fees wich my fiancé is just doing it now 🙄 (we just got our number on Friday late ) And then it takes like 2 days to process the payment. I hope I can book my interview by the end of this week.

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️

It's a protocol for 'Electronic Cases'.

I know! The good thing about Colombia is that we are able to find open dates within 2 weeks! How’s your case going? Have you call yet to NVC

Oh wow 2 weeks really? That’s awesome.. I was expecting 30-40 days. I called NVC starting last Thursday and as of last Friday they still have not rec’d our petition.. I’ll be calling them every day after 3pm PST M-F until they receive it and give us our case number :D

My fiancé (beneficiary) called NVC today and the agent he spoke to says they received our case today. Not sure why he did not get the case #.  Do the case # get assigned the same day or do we call again tomorrow? The agent told him to call in the next few weeks for the case #.

 @ChuAni. thx for the great help you have been for us today and see now here i'm now knowing what i need to do. thx so much if you have other useful information for us please do send it. but please can you share with me how your medical go?

You're welcome. I'm glad to be of help.

We all are here to learn from each other and support one another.

Oh My Medicals will be in two weeks time. They need;

* 6 Passport Photos

* Passport

* Copy of Passport Data Page

* Copy of Interview Appointment Letter

* A copy of Vaccination/Medical Record (if any)

There will be samples' analysis, including X-ray and Physical Examination.  After which, they determine the vaccines to be given, but the vaccines needed for US Immigration includes;

* TDT = Tetanus & Diphtheria Toxoids

* IPV = Inactivated Polio Vaccine

* Varicella

* MMR = Measles, Mumps & Rubella

* Influenza

After two weeks, the Applicant goes back to the Clinic to pick up the result for the Interview.
