i should confess that i have a similar plan but i stop now again regarding what i explain on top RE.the hospital asking for an interview letter. well i have my police certificate already. lukcy because  i love traveling but have never spend 6 months straight anywhere.

the day i went to the hospital, the didn't realize first that i was there for the information.

they thought i came in for the exam and their first question was when is your interview? and when i explain my case they told me well we need two weeks ahead of your interview date. but another question is; what if we wait for packet 3 which finally arrived with a date that don't give us 2 weeks for the medical exam to be completed?

anyway i'm waiting for an answer to my mail this week, i'll see what the hospital will tell me about the NVC letter and i can move forward.

i don't have my time to give to any other institution if not my family but with the US it's always complicated

Ooh! It's similar to my Embassy.

You schedule Interview, print out Appointment Letter, attend your Medicals two weeks to your Interview Date with a copy of the Appointment Letter...the two weeks is to give them time to process the results and we pick the results from them. The Clinic must ask you for it.

Packet 3 is a List of Instructions, just the ones you saw on the website. I know many Applicants that attended their Interview without the Packet 3 from the Embassy. For me, I was at the Bank to pay the Visa Fees, when the Embassy's Packet Email came in on my phone.

God bless you!!! @ChuAni. but here is the controversy. at the hospital, in their requirement, they told me that the interview letter is required and that letter will mention the date of my interview. see, so that's something that is supposed to came along with the packet 3 if i'm not wrong. that's the reason i'm planing to call the hospital if the said it's the only valuable document so we have no choice because you cannot go the interview without the medical and if the hospital need a letter from the embassy before run the medical for you and you don't have the letter, what else can you do? that's the box we're in

Oh No! The Interview Letter is the Appointment Letter. It's not part of the Packet 3.

You print it out yourself after you have scheduled your Interview.

It includes your Details and the date you choose for your Interview.

see where we're. i'm pretty sure it'll be the same issue here in Togo. so do you get yours by email in the same packet 3? :bonk:

No!

Packet 3 has Information (tells you to provide) of the documents you will provide for your Interview..

DS-160 Confirmation Page

Interview Appointment Letter

Passport

Passport Photos

Police Certificate

Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support)

...Bank Statement

...Tax Returns

...Employment Letter

Divorce Certificates

Birth Certificates

Death Certificates

Marriage Certificates

Evidence of Relationship

Then, after you pay your Visa Fees, schedule Interview (on the website), you print out your Interview Appointment Letter. The Embassy will not give it to you. You are the one to print it out from the website and take it to your Medicals/Interview Day.

Exactly!💯

The Embassy doesn't give you a date. You pay, log in with your payment receipt # and choose a date. After which, you print out the Letter.

Quick questions! Greatly appreciate your responses!

Finace submitted his ds160. Next step is to pay the visa fee and schedule the interview then medical.

He can do that through an online portal on the embassy's website. It asks for the case number, which will be provided by the NVC, it's a 3 letter followed by 10 digits..correct?

Did it specifically say 'NVC Case #'?

...because, when you're to schedule the interview, it's the Visa Payment Receipt Number that is needed. It is gotten after payment.

Yes. And the Lagos embassy sent my fiancée my packet saying it’s ready. I made payment for the visa. Want to schedule an interview before heading to Lagos for medical. So want to know which hospital is cheapest.

1. The children hospital

2. Q-life

3. MHAC
