I'd be P-I-issed. Immigration lawyers are supposed to know the procedure to a T.

K1 is a whole different mystery even to them. From my point of view I feel like they’re just trying to make easy money with k1 filers. And they don’t seem to have up to date info on it either.

Hence why I didn't waste my time with one.

My two gf's did and ran into incompetency too.

Exactly!  My parent's kept saying I should get a lawyer and didn't understand why I wouldn't. I finally came up with an illustration that they got.  I basically told them that while you might need a lawyer specializing in labor law and employment issues if you are discriminated against or have problems at work, you wouldn't use such a lawyer just to fill out a job application and work on your resume.  A lawyer might be useful if you are uncomfortable with paperwork and such, but they can't influence the process itself, unless they forget stuff like it seems too many do.

Guys

when we ask statement from our Employer, it says nature of the employment? Could you explain what it means, I want be sure before asking from my employer.

also at supporting evidence, it mentions “ List containing serial numbers and denominations ...”. What does it mean, and do all of us need to provide that.( I am the petitioner)

and to whom does the employment statement is addressed to.

Quick question, when my fiancee is filling out the DS-160 can she print the confirmation page at a later date?  Or does it need to be printed when it's completed?

She doesn't have a printer but would like to do the 160 at home rather than an internet cafe.

Hey guys!!

Has anyone's reached NVC yet?

Mine has. And I got the case number last night! So I booked the medical and the earliest date I could get was June 13th, which is annoying but I'm on the cancellation list so I hope to be moved up. So now my fiancee is prepping the affidavit. (though we mistakenly actually filed it with the 129f)
