Please Help!!!

Spoiler

My embassy is in Togo, so after my fiancee interview this morning, the CO kept my affidavit of support, my fiancee 2 passports pictures and her birth certificate. He gave her a pink slip stating further investigation and they will call her back. They returned her passport to her, can someone please tell me if they know any similar experience. Please help me, it is stressing me out not knowing what is going on.

So I dont make the required amount for affidavit so my grandfather is going to be the cosponsor. He filled the I 134 and everything out and has sent the supporting documents to my fiance in England. I also sent the I 134 as well just so he has it, I sent my tax returns for the past three years and since last year I didn't make enough bc I was in college I sent my transcripts for the year and my degree bc I finished this past May. I sent that showing why I didn't work this past year. Do I need to send anything else or will they even bother look at mine as long as someone can sponsor him? His intreview is next Thursday so we need to figure this out fast! Help!

Hello everyone,

my fiance has received all of his police certificates with ease, except for Cyprus. He has sent documents to his friends in Cyprus so they can get his certificate for him. The police keep giving his friends the run around. We have been working on this since May and our petition expires in September. We are running out of time and we cannot submit packet 3 without the certificate. Without packet 3, there will be no interview date. Is there any way we can extend the date on our NOA 2 so that we can have more time to get this police clearance??? HELP! :’(

My thoughts are with those still waiting for their NOA2.

My fiance and I had our interview on July 9th. We are waiting for the visa to be processed.

We provided all requested documents. My fiancé has twins. Although we've expressed they are not expected to follow…we were asked to provide their birth certificates to be processed (the NVC creates cases for children of the beneficiary).

In hindsight, I can see why the consulate would want their info…in case something happens to the mother.

I was quite frustrated because I felt like we should have been notified to have the birth certificates for the children whether they plan to follow or not. We would have had the documents at the interview and would not have been delayed in the having the visa processed.

Good news, is we are approved…documents were received for processing. The CEAC site shows that the case has been updated twice last week.

We're praying for the issued visa this week.

I extended my stay a whole week hoping he'd be able to travel with me. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

God willing…we will be blessed with the visa this week. In God's time….we are thankful to be able to receive the visa.

I talked with the NVC this morning. In which, I was told that the NVC should not have created cases for the children since K2 visa petitions were not submitted.

An additional spend of $1k and 3 weeks later, I am instructed to send an email/letter to embassy explaining error of NVC and send request to remove the children and issue visa.

I was also told a letter requesting further proof that he is their father was sent last week. The birth certificate with his id # wasn't enough? Good gracious people!
