So after the interview how long does it take that the visa status start to change? And what were the steps?

Was it: No status > Ready > Administrative processing > Issued?

Hello everyone! My fiancée had her interview this morning. They only asked her 2 questions but after the interview she was handed a pink slip and was told to wait for further investigation which will take 2 months. What is worrying me is the fact that they didn’t retain her passport. Does anyone knows how the process goes?

Extend?

The conditions are that you must get married within the 90 days of POE. You cannot extend. That is the criteria of the K1.

ok as long as it is 90 days of POE and not when issued then i am not worried.

Can anyone lead me to a thread on EADs? I and fiancee want to kind of get a feel for how long he has to wait not working... i know it will drive him insane.

HI CAN SOMEONE HELP? I think that if we fill in the adjustment of status and our medical exam overseas is in between one year do we still need to have another medical exam? or just the vaccination supplement.

because i'm getting ready to start that and when i called the designated clinics they seems  to make me and my daughter have another medical exam instead of the vaccination supplement and it's expenssive.

if someone have a contact of clinics or doctor who understand that we don't need a full medical exam,  please  share or any advice is welcome

i'm in north portland

They will have stamped his passport with the date you must marry by at POE.

I dont have a thread but if you look at processing times for EAD on USCIS it states 5 to 8 months.

The Civil Surgeons in the US are just a money grab. They can try to make you do anything they want just to get money from you.

Go through the list of USCIS approved CS's and start calling around to ones in your area.

You do not need another medical to apply for AOS but you WILL have to find a CS that will only endorse the I693 for your supplemental vaccines (flu shot only I'm assuming) and not charge you to do a whole new medical.
