There really isn't a group to join until you file for AOS because there's no one way to do things after POE>
However, I believe @Greenbaum has a website that walks you through POE, SSN and other things?
Ask around general questions on VJ and people can help you out.

But once you get married and file AOS, then join that month's group thread.
Like this is July AOS's group:

Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/ob9xoa8  Use the tab "Airport and POE". The fist listing on that tab is for people leaving the Philippines. The other line items and the tabs going to the right will help anyone.

Question????  I am the petitioner, do I need to have original copies of my previous divorces?  I have copies but not the originals.

Yes. For interview the beneficiary HAVE to have the ORIGINALS OF ANY PREVIOUS DIVORCE DECREE of any of you two. If you don’t present original or CERTIFIED COPIES you will get the 221g at the end of the interview and you will have to submitted in a certain period of time. If you don’t. Your visa will be refuse. You can go to the courthouse and get certified copies and mail trough dhl  to my country. That’s what my Fiancé ( the petitioner) did.

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️

just have a question to ask : what is the next step after my case is ready at the US Embassy in Paris,?  did I have to wait the mail from the US Embassy or take myself a step toward the US Embassy.?

I read that I had to wait their mail for the next episode but as you can see my case last updated as ready on the 3rd of July and didn’t have any news from the Embassy until now.

for nigerian embassy i was the petitioner and i only had to give my fiancee (the beneficiary) my copies.. the beneficiary who has had a previous marriage would have to have the original. (this is for nigeria) and make sure you have all of the papers... i provided all pages, not just signatures

Hello Sis,

Do you know if the US Consulate keep the financial documents (tax transcripts, pay stubs, employer letter, etc), or are they given back after the interview? Thanks!
