For 2018? You will need to provide a copy of the tax return you filed as supporting documentation so unless you are having your interview in 2019 after you have filed 2018's taxes, you will write the total income from your 2017 taxes and provide a copy of you 2017 taxes returns.

Oh thank you.

Please one more thing, does devidend and child's subsidy also count as income?

Because we have all that in Alaska.

It is advised to do the medical before the interview, and at the moment Knightsbridge are taking over 7 working days to get the results of the medical to the Embassy. You can go for the interview after the medical no problem. However, your visa will be on hold until they receive the results and it could add almost a month of waiting time.

I just had my medical last week, had my original interview scheduled for today, but as lots of people had mentioned their results had not been received by the Embassy after 5 working days, I changed it to next week. I'm glad I did as I called Knightsbridge today and the medical is still there, waiting to be sent. So, had I had gone today and passed the interview I'd be pending on the fact they were waiting for medical results.

Sometimes better to wait a few days, rather than rushing in and getting yourself out of sync with the chain of events, so you can get your Visa in hand quicker ;)!

Just a quick question about the medical. I have my medical booked for 24th July and my interview is scheduled for 6th August. Do you think this is enough time for my results to be sent to the consulate? Or should I reschedule my interview?

I'm trying to rebook my medical for an earlier date but every time I call they're fully booked until the end of the month. :(

Should be enough time that's 9 working days :)... Just call on Thursday 2nd August, see if they've got the results out to the Embassy!

Yes God is good we are so happy!!  I hope he gets it within in 9 days like you and @EllyNelly fiance. We are making travel plans soon but I don't know if we should wait until he has his Visa in hand to book a ticket.

2017...Yes.

Then, attend the Interview with 2017 Tax Return. You may include 2016 & 2015 Tax Returns.

It's generally advised to have the Visa in Hand before booking the Flight, but we booked mine immediately after my Interview. We gave a 3-week time factor from the Interview so as to have my visa.

What's the status of the case?

OMG seriously are you sure!!!??? You know I trust your word!

Administrative Processing (Non-Immigrant Visa) is our Magic Word for Nigeria. It means they have sent the file (case) to the Visa Issurance Unit of the Embassy (Nigeria) and the next day comes with Issued. DHL picks it up next. I tried to run a search on Picked Visas for Nig. and I came to deduct that DHL makes a 3 day per week visit to the Embassy (Mon, Wed, Friday).

Is Administrative Processing (Non-Immigrant Visa) right?
