Keep in mind that this is going to be a marathon and not a sprint. You will hit speed bumps along the way. Things are not necessarily going to make sense. You have to find your patience or you will end up on the funny farm. I'm not kidding.

😔 I tried to take a pic or upload the pic I have and pic is too big.. But it says it is being forwarded to consulate, not to NVC 😔 and when I read the letter to the NVC agent, they said it was weird. Now I have to call uscis and find out where they Sent my petition. I dont want our petition to now expire because of uscis messing up...

Keep in mind that if you can prove your income by the employer letter or 2017 Tax Return that you either meet or exceed then there is nothing to worry about and I wouldn't go overboard to "build a strong case". Just bring what is on the list.

Thanks. I have a letter from my employer. Should I include my 2017 tax return and my 2017 W2? I have made copies of my 2014 to 2017 tax return and have made copies of my W2 2014 to 2017. I thought about putting all that information in the packet I send to my fiance. What is your opinion on that? Should I just send the 2017 info with my employer letter?

Oh no ?! I don't know what's going on but call NVC may be help to understand ? Be ready NVC folks aren't the nicest either

There's no reason to panic. Some cases have this kinda Approval Letter like yours. Even the NVC Rep. you spoke with, doesn't have knowledge of this.

 

You have May 2nd as NOA2 date, you will be expecting your Case # by next week (21-24 days).

Just relax!!

Just got NOA2 today, May 2. Oct 27 NOA1.

 

Fiance is in the Philippines so we've already been working on preparing her docs and it looks like it is one of the quickest turnaround embassies with as little as a week waiting time for interview appointments

It's normal, as there are other people waiting, just like you. You may place in an Inquiry based on the Processing Timeline on USCIS website. Meanwhile, there's an October 2017 Forum for K-1. Check in there.

just like @ChuAni said you have nothing to worry about whatever they say at NVC. K1 always go to NVC and half the people have that writing  it will still go to NVC.

Couple of things to share with you. First your embassy letter requires the following:

 

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must demonstrate that you have sufficient financial support. We recommend that your American fiancé(e) or spouse download and complete an Affidavit of Support (Form 1-134) which you may bring to your interview. This form is available at http://www.uscis.gov/i-134. To avoid processing delays, we recommend petitioners include a copy of their most recent IRS 1040 and a W2, paystub, or a letter from their employer certifying employment.

Second - its easier to send IRS transcripts then IRS 1040. The IRS transcript is free to download from the IRS website. The EL is only asking for the most current year (2017) of your taxes, W2 and paystub.

 

Third - READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

Fourth - Your income is compared to the I-864 poverty guidelines. Look at the chart to determine if you will face any problems with the evidence of support. The chart is laid out so you can find your family size and the dollar amount tied to that entry is the income you are required to have.

gbahara m  they freaked me out when they told me to call uscis lol and i cant even get through the customer service line lol

Hey guys! I know this not something really big but seems here in Costa Rica that the embassy does not contact you. 

Should i send the documents even though they dont ask? 

Still waiting NVC number tho
