After my case shows ready, then i sent an email for packet 3 so that is when I got that reply.

Okay. Actually, NVC sends cases to the Embassy via DHL and it takes about 1-4 business days for them to receive them. Resend an email to them tomorrow (Monday) requesting the Packet 3.

Hello everyone

The US Embassy in Paris received our case so it is ready on the Ceac but I have a question about the affidavit of support, I thought by seeing on USCIS and US Department of State that the affidavit of support for a Visa K1 was the affidavit of support i-134 form but I saw on the US Embassy in Paris that they ask for the affidavit of support I-864 form so I’m a bit confuse about it,

is it normal that the US Embassy in France ask for a different form than the official website of USCIS and US Department of State, my fiancée is going to fill the form but we just want to be sure which is the correct one

 Any help is welcome thanks

Hi please read the site of US Embassy France again. You must have missed out reading the third paragraph under Affidavit of Support or Employment letter...It shows there For All applicants including K1 Fianceë visa use form i-134....the first paragraph actually tells for family based visa 1-865 is to be used..😊

Every embassy is different.  There is no packet 3 for Manila.

Hi. Is it okay not to have the Income tax return form 1040 with me during the interview? My fiance said that in the website it says it is only required during adjustment of status stage with form 1-846 .with Form i-134 needs only to be proven that he can support and aince his earnings is beyond poverty guideline so his W2, current pay stubs amd employment verification is enough..

After the NOA2, your case will go to the NVC, after about 2 weeks, your case will get a new number assigned. Call them to obtain this number and provide them with your email address. Once the NVC sends the case to your embassy (on Tuesdays it seems to happen), you will be notified by e-mail.

You can also regularly check your status here with your new case number: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Thank youu

Lucky!!  Hopefully it will be ready today. Someone did say it took them 5 business days.

Yes I think mine was a bit flukey. It was the only quick part of the entire process for my SO and I.

I'm right there with you! Still in transit for me and mine changed to in transit on last Tuesday too, my fiance and I are feeling the wrath of being apart and the anxiousness of not knowing.. I'm thinking of a spontaneous extended weekend trip to go see him within the next 2 weeks
