Mine is still in transit too. But I think someone said it usually takes a few days sometimes! I know somsomesomsomeosomsomesomsomeomsomsomesomsomeosomsomesomsomeome from England said 3 days.bc its DhL

I heard a lot of them are actually sent by electronic copies...

But based what I have observed, in Singapore, usually it take 3-5 days and even 10 days..I just hope they can receive it soon.

But since it's already 'in transit', it's no longer NVC's job right? The one who updates the status should be embassy I guess?

That's a good question! Can anyone shed some light on that? Myfiance just scheduled his medical for July 21st which is exciting! But cant schedule his interview till it arrives and gets his packet 3

Nothing should be done until the Embassy receives the case (Case Status: Ready) and sends Packet 3 to you. Monitor your case, once it says 'Ready', send an email (include your USCIS # and NVC Case #) to the Embassy requesting Packet 3 to be sent to you. First, you will receive an autoresponse, but there will be a specific reply within 1-3 days. Then, go ahead to finish your DS-160 form, pay your visa fee ($265= #95,400) at any GTBank Branch and schedule your Interview. Once you have your Appointment Letter (knowing your Interview date), prepare when to have your Medicals. 

 

Note: The results take 14 days (2 weeks) to be ready for Lagos and few days for Abuja.

I sent lagos consulate about packet 3 and they reply that they have received my petition but they are awaiting the hard copies

Thank you for your email.

 

According to our records, we have received the electronic file but we are yet to receive your physical file. Once we receive the physical case file we will contact regarding the next step in the process. 

  this is their reply after emailing them for packet 3.

So it will be sent both electronically and mail.

But who knows how long the physical file will take.

I know! And the embassy just emailed me that I can book the interview time online!

Do i need to send my fiance the original I-797 aka apporval notice for the interview? 

Those who already had their interviews, did you have the original and did the CO ask for it?

We are on the same boat. Hand shaking. I was hoping it could be ready by end of this week. But tmr is already 'end of this week'. So I guess I should be more patient.
