I'm sorry guys but I just want to ask. How can I delete a post I posted on a forum? @Greenbaum @UKUSABoston or anyone who knows how to do it?

You need to ask a monitor to delete. In your message use the "report a post " at the upper right hand corner of your post. Let them know within the pop up message box.

Please after printing ds160, it's state that I should bring evidence of approval....please is that correct or will they necessarily require it?

evidence of approval is just another way of saying to bring your DS160 confirmation page that you will receive after you submit the DS160. Print 3 copies so you have extra.

Good afternoon all,

I am printing documents for my affidavit of support. When printing my taxes, print the WHOLE thing (it’s 141 pages 😳), is just the first few pages is good enough? (I will also have w2s and pay stubs).

Don't print all those pages. Get a Tax transcript. It's about 2 pages long and it is the preferred way of submitting your tax information. It's free. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript  Some Embassy require 3 years others 1 year. Refer to the instructions for your Embassy.

You do not need to print all those pages. The preferred way the CO's would like your tax information is with a Tax Transcript printable from online for FREE. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

I'm almost positive you only need to include Form 1040 within the taxes..

You can use the 1040 but the preferred way the CO's would like your tax information is with a Tax Transcript printable from online for FREE. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Yup for past 3 years. Otherwise there will be a long delay..

BECAREFUL! That may not be true for all Embassy's. Each Embassy has their own criteria that they use for financials. Some want 3 years, others 1 year and I even know of one Embassy that doesn't require financials. They can bring 3 years, but if the Embassy ask for 1 year then they are not necessary in for a long delay.

I have seen mixed messages with this, I have seen that the most recent tax transcript (Form 1040) Possibly will be 10-15 pages and include all of it. I as well have then see this "past 3 years of tax transcript." I don't see on the site that 3 years is required, I have only seen the most recent year.

Can anyone help with recent interviews?

It all depends on the Embassy. What is good for Spain or Germany or the UK may not be true for Nigeria. I always refer back to the P3 for the instructions on what is required for your Embassy.

Please folks, asking in here with each Embassy's requirements are different at this stage then yours, why risk getting the wrong answer and it sets you back for weeks. If you have a sub-forum you should be asking these questions there. If there is not a sub-forum, then befriend someone that is processing through your country that is a head of you and knows from experience what is expected.

I got to ask with all these questions now that you are approved what were you doing to get ready for this stage.

Thank you for the helpful information and link. And I’m answer to your question about how my time has been spent- in terms of financial documents, I work for the City of NY, everything is electronic, my pay stubs, employment verification, w2, etc are all a click of a button away. Those, as well as my taxes, sit right on my desk top as PDFs, downloaded and  ready to print. Now that I am (finally 🙌🏾) “in transit” I was simply clicking each document and printing. Just didn’t realize how hefty the tax file was since I complete them electronically. I read almost every single post on here to avoid asking questions already asked, however I never saw a post about what part of the tax document is best to print.

Also, I am THE ONLY person on this entire site that has filed a K1 visa from my small Island of St. Lucia 😭😭😭. Trust me I have scoured.. so sadly, I am a Lone Ranger out here, and have leaned on the advice of one single kind Barbados filer from last year who has answer d some questions (Barbados is where our embassy is) :(. Hopefully I can be here for any St. Lucians going forward.

I take my hat off to you. You're a breath of fresh air. I am so proud of you that you have been able to find help where help wasn't there. I see you can think outside the box when needed. Keep moving forward and do what you are doing. You should have no problems getting this visa. "All the best to you".

Quick question to the UK people! How long did your visa stay in transit? Someone said it can take weeks but that might be a different country that takes that long.

For trends I have seen anywhere from 3-10 days, but again including multiple country circumstances
