Finally in "Transit" - Ciudad Juarez, Mexico! Does anybody know about how long until status says "Ready"?

Depends on how they sent it. Some paperwork are sent electronically and some are sent by mail.

Hey everyone! Got a question about the bank statement from my fiance (petitioner). For how many months of bank statements should we provide?

Each embassy is different in their requirements. I would suggest referring to the packet 3 instructions. But normally one year worth of statements is all you need.

Spoiler

As well on my packet 3 that I have seen online, a bank statement is one of the forms of documentation that you can provide but they had multiple bullet points with documentation that would be substantial referencing taxes, bank account statements, letter from employer.. I believe the bank statement sometimes isn't necessary if the income and taxes are well over the amount needed but still is nice to have just incase

Good afternoon all,

I am printing documents for my affidavit of support. When printing my taxes, print the WHOLE thing (it’s 141 pages 😳), is just the first few pages is good enough? (I will also have w2s and pay stubs).

Hello Everyone,

I have been a long time lurker here. My NOA2 was 5/10/18 . NVC recieved my case on 5/30/18, NVC # assigned 5/31/18. I then waited "AT NVC" status until 6/13/18. I received the instruction email from NVC on 6/14/18 and on that same day I sent the DS-160, scheduled biometrics (VAC) [6/18/18] and Interview [7/12/18]. Today my fiance was supposed to pick up the results of his medical but was advised that he needed to go back to the consulates medical facility and pay an additional $500 pesos (RD$) but was not informed as to why. I have been told by other family memeber who are in this process as well that they are now giving some sort of medication (pill) I am not sure what it is for but I will give an update on Thurdays after my fiance goes in a verifies this information. With this being said I HIGHLY ADVISE at least those in the Dominican Republic, DO NOT SCHEDULE INTERVIEW without atleast 3 weeks time from the medical exam. There isnt too much information on Santo Domingo Embassy but here's some info.

There is no packet 3 only a packet 4 which may not ever arrive.

You will need the letter NVC emails with case number (SDO2018******) for the medical and the DS-160 confirmation page with barcode for VAC biometrics appointment.

The medical exam does not require an appointment but it is advised to be there as early as possible as they only see a limited amount of patients per day (plan to be there by 6 am and dont expect to leave before 12pm)

You should schedule the biometrics appointment for the same day as the medical but for the afternoon (after 1 pm)  as both locations are near each other especially for those who do not live in Santo Domingo (only 1 trip = 1 travel cost).

After the case is in READY status in the embassy you have to schedule your own interview date and time ( dates are available as soon as the next day! but remember give yourself time to receive medical exam back as it is mailed to a pick up location of your choice).

I have read that the petitioner is not required to attend the interview but it is recommended. Those people who's fiance's/Spouse's do not attend the interview get asked many more questions than those who are.

I will also provide a review of the interview in about 2 weeks.

Feel free to message me with any questions, Im more than glad to help.

* A copy of Vaccination/Medical Record (if any)

There will be samples' analysis, including X-ray and Physical
Examination.  After which, they determine the vaccines to be given,
but the vaccines needed for US Immigration includes;

* TDT = Tetanus & Diphtheria Toxoids

* IPV = Inactivated Polio Vaccine

Thank you but I thought USEM don't send any p3 to the beneficiary.

Sometimes they do and sometimes the don't. Right now they are beginning to use email to send the P3. But most items are listed on their website or the information I gave you.
