Oh I didn't know you can book your medical before the London embassy gets your case?! I'll tell my fiance then! He filled out his ds160 form already waiting to submit it.

Yeh, I mean I booked mine while it was 'In Transit' they don't ask for much over the phone apart from name and NVC case number. Like I said the only reason I advise it is because of the long waiting time, we're end of June and they are booking end of July appointments. This process is long enough as it is...

Can we definitely book the medical without the packet reaching the embassy yet?! I received my case number last week but it still hasn’t reached the embassy (London), I can book my medical already??

Please see my above reponse!

My fiance called they told him to wait till it sends out. I guess since yours was in transit it made it easier that way. But we were told it should be shipped out either by the end of today or tomorrow!

Oh my goodness! So LONG, I would be going crazy.. I am on borderline of feeling anxious that everything isn't moving along.. I have seen in previous comments that people have seen trends of every other week one day a week that they send out batches off to the necessary embassies, so I'm hoping for this week. It's reassuring to know that at least we are at this stage and not the NOA1-NOA2 stage because that was so difficult, but at the same time now that we are this far along it makes you want everything that much more quicker

Definitely, my fiancee is going bananas.  As if the NOA2 wait wasn't bad enough.  I've been calling the NVC every other day.  Today they told that they send out batches a couple of times a month which sounds like bs cause I've seen cases going out days apart from each other. I was convinced my case would spend only a couple of days at the NVC but hey, it happens.  Just gotta wait it out...

Good luck to you, and let's hope today is the day.

Yes that makes sense that they said that, from what I saw I believe in the post was that batches ended up sending 5/15, 5/29, 6/12.. so if that is the trend it looks like every other Tuesday is what they did for the past 3 send outs.

I called(Iam the petitioner) and she said don't quote me but keep checking your email today or tomorrow because it isn't done yet but almost there.

Oh, that's good!

But what did you ask her? Like 'what is the status'? Looks like they know a lot about how much time it is going to take....

I have seen that sometimes calling after the NVC Case # is assigned can somewhat be pointless as it is then out of their control as to when the "batches" get sent, but I will say that from a customer service level NVC is a million times better than USCIS.. there is hope for humanity!

Just asked her if he can book his medical because he has the case number now because I know they are filling up and won't be till the end of July. She said hold a bit longer because its not much further now.. Keep checking your email every so often this week. Its almost there.. So she must ohave known something but didn't want to press her because I know they are recorded and didn't want to get her in trouble for saying something she shouldn't
