Quick question: can i fill out and submit the DS 160 before recieving a case number from NVC? Or do we need it prior to submitting?

I just answered that question on the page before this one. (See below) The most benefit to you from these threads is if you read each page going forward from where you left off the last time you were that way you can stay on top of what to do and when to do it.

There is no "official" requirement for filing the DS-160 but to have it ready before the interview.  There is nothing stopping you from completing it once you have your NOA2. If it where me I like to get things "off my desk" as soon as I can and be done with it.

I am the petitioner.When I fill out I-134, on section 'Income and Asset Information', 'Market value of my stocks and bonds'. Does this include 401k savings, I think it does, but just want to confirm.

Yes. Completing in this case means you can submit anytime after you have received your NOA2. The receipt number comes from your NOA1 for the DS-160.

For my understanding we don’t have to translate the police certificate. After you ask I was searching about it because I was sure I saw this somewhere.i think you were reading the old visa site. I attached the old site (2011) and the new site (2017) and what the said.  Also it say that documents must come on the original language of the country of issuance. If not then you have to make them translate to the English. Take a look on the pictures

Ahhhh... thank you!!! I didn't realize there was an old website! What is this one if you don't mind?? I definitely don't want to go with outdated info!! And do you by chance know of any Facebook or WhatsApp groups for Colombians going through the K-1 process? My fiancé is dying to talk to people and I would let him use this account but its connected to my Facebook.. I can PM you his name/number if you could add him to any groups you know of?

Its the same website. It’s only that some information for the K1 packages 3/4 are outdated. The one that said it needs to be translated is from 2011 while the one that doesn’t say it is from 2017.

Hi Dear...my medical is coming up pretty soon. 

Ooh! About the fee, it's with 70k depending on the vaccine shots. Some peope pay less. Last week, someone paid 66k (Tests+Vaccine Shots).
