According to the Thai Embassy there is no mention of an expiration:

MARITAL STATUS CERTIFICATE(S) (also known as the Single Status Certificate):  All fiancé(e) K1 visa applicants should submit a marital status certificate.  Obtainable at the local district office (Thai Amphur), it should state that the local district office completed a review of the Family Registration Database.

Just my 2cents

theres no mention of expiration for my paper either (not even at the reciprocity) but the paper itself says there is an expiration date and the embassy takes that as the date. Because that is the validation given by the authority.

The "paper"? I take it you received a document similar for your Embassy and within the document contains an expiration date. Am I following your logic? :D

I have read on the forum that some embassy's don't send out a packet 3 and 4 and your are on your own. I tried calling the Embassy in Togo today to find out if we could get the packet my email or if my fiance could pick it up and they didn't act like they understood my question and told me to send an email. I sent the email and received and automatically generated email that says it could take 3-5 business days for a reply. In looking at the website for the Togo embassy i don't really see anything regarding sending more information. Has anyone else had experience with this??

I would call them again and try a different question; Who schedules the interview? Do you send out instructions as to what documents are required that we need to bring to the interview? There are number of different machinations of the "packet".  Packet 3 or 4, Embassy Letter or now more commonly the checklist.

papers, documents... yes.

If a document (paper) has an expiration date on itself, given by the issuing authority. It would be its expiration date "document validity".

Just like for police certification it can differ from country to country and the issuing authority.

I agree with your logic and I understand more clearly your explanation. For the Embassy in the Philippines they require that the document not be older than 6 months at the time of the interview. Absent of a expiry date I would advise the OP to rely on the 6 month rule.

@ElieSon... @jean baptiste

I contacted my Embassy via email, requesting the packet to be sent to me (including my wac # and case #). I got an auto-response within minutes and after 2 days, they specifically replied my email with the Packet. I would advise, you wait.

see my friend i was already at the panel physician office to request the information regarding document for the medical exam and on the list,

they're asking for the interview letter.

so i'm now planing to call them in the week also and ask if the NVC mail is sufficient for them to run the medical if so, i'll submit my DS-160 and go for medical. if they say no it's not and that they want the embassy letter and only that, then i think we don't have any other choice than wait like good boys.

any advice is welcome and very appreciated

From what I know and understand for you to get a medical date you must have booked the interview first.....then you must make sure that the medical is 2 weeks before the interview.

Each Embassy has it's own procedures and requirements. For someone processing in the Philippines they only need either the NVC letter or a screen shot of there confirmation page from the interview scheduling to complete their medical. They also are only required to finish the medical before the interview. The medical results are given to the applicant to hand carry to their interview. Which means if the Medical is completed the day before the interview no problem as they will carry the next day to the interview their medical results.

So be careful in what you offer as advice. Not all Embassy's process the same. :thumbs:
